T2 adapters

Use the T2-adapter to attach the camera body to the eyepiece of an observatory telescope, to a microscope, and to other devices where the camera needs to be attached.

The T2-adapter (T-adapter, T-Mount) was developed by Tamron in the 1950s to allow the universal use of its lenses on camera bodies from various manufacturers.

The first letter "T" stands for Tamron. T2 is a 42 mm metric thread with a 0.75 mm pitch.

A T-adapter system usually consists of two interconnected parts that are held in place by a screw, so that the camera can be rotated to the desired position on the attached device.
