JOBO bottles boast a patented lid that has no foam/rubber parts (seals). In fact, the top is conical in shape, ensuring that no oxygen gets into the bottle and no liquid spills out.
Bottles using lids with foam/rubber fillings pose a potential contamination hazard because the rubber will always absorb some of the chemicals poured into the bottle. Such caps must not then be confused, i.e. you should not use a cap from a bottle where developer has been poured on a bottle with fixer.
JOBO caps are easy to wash, no residual chemistry is left on them.
