KINETRONICS SW-060, antistatic brush

The Kinetronics SW-060 cleaning brush is particularly suitable for cleaning sensitive surfaces and removing static charge at the same time.

It is ideal for removing dust from films, lenses or any camera parts without risk of damaging the surface.

The brush consists of a blend of highly flexible natural fibres and conductive synthetic fibres. The handle is made of conductive plastic.

After cleaning, the treated surfaces are electrically neutral and therefore do not attract any dust particles.

Soiled brushes can be washed without affecting their anti-static effect. The brushes can be used at temperatures up to 65°.

Who is Kinetronics?

Over many years the Kinetronics Corporation, which was founded in 1973 in the USA, has earned itself an excellent reputation for high quality antistatic cleaning products. Kinetronics products have established themselves on the market for photofinishing and cinema film projection for many years now. Building on this base, more recently cleaning products have also been developed for demanding final users, which live up to the highest „state-of-the-art“ quality standards.

Dust has always been one of the biggest enemies of photographers, whether they are professionals or amateurs. While one can keep photographic equipment free of large particles of dirt by treating the equipment carefully, one is generally completely powerless against dust. Dust on objectives and filters, inside cameras and laboratory equipment, as well as on films and camera chips, can have a considerably negative impact on the photos that are produced. Simple attempts to clean equipment are additionally complicated by static charges.

In laboratories, too, during media production, during projection, in the graphics industry, while framing pictures and in many industrial applications dust and static charges are unavoidable phenomena that accompany such processes, and consequently they have to be effectively combated.

Efficient antistatic equipment is standard on virtually all Kinetronics products. Brushes, cloths and gloves also have conductive textile and material components. The „SpeckGRABBER“ functions according to a completely different principle for  removing dust and  dirt  particles from highly-sensitive surfaces, such as CCD/CMOS receivers and their covers in digital cameras. The sensor-style instrument has a „tip“ with high adhesive strength, which catches the dust particles without leaving any residues.

In 2001 Kinetronics Europe GmbH was founded in Bornheim near Bonn. Kinetronics Europe GmbH is the responsible contact person with its own warehouse for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The move to the new building in Meckenheim near Bonn took place in 2016. In order to be prepared for the future requirements of an industrial supplier, Kinetronics Europe GmbH has not only adopted ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 but also ISO 19600:2016 and SA 8000:2014 and ISO 370001:2018 in 2021 get certified successfully.
