KINETRONICS Ministat MS-200, Anti-Static-Film Cleaner

MiniStat cleans films, foils, thin plastic rolls and originals for scanners, printers, minilabs, enlargers and projectors. Dust and static charge during slide mounting are removed just as effectively.

Two anti-static brushes gently clean the material from both sides simultaneously and discharge static charges. MiniStat works without mains connection. The solid steel frame together with the bracket for stationary installation increase the longevity of the device and improve the effectiveness of the cleaning.

MiniStat is therefore an ideal device for all film or foil processing companies that pay attention to high quality of their output products. The unit can be fixed securely and permanently with the help of screws or placed variably thanks to the enclosed magnet. The Kinetronics MiniStat© is a low-cost, static dissipative film cleaner that uses two StaticWisk TM anti-static brushes for effective anti-static film cleaning.

The film is cleaned as it passes through the StaticWisk TM brushes. The brushes dissipate the static and whisk dust and lint off the film.

Who is Kinetronics?

Over many years the Kinetronics Corporation, which was founded in 1973 in the USA, has earned itself an excellent reputation for high quality antistatic cleaning products. Kinetronics products have established themselves on the market for photofinishing and cinema film projection for many years now. Building on this base, more recently cleaning products have also been developed for demanding final users, which live up to the highest „state-of-the-art“ quality standards.

Dust has always been one of the biggest enemies of photographers, whether they are professionals or amateurs. While one can keep photographic equipment free of large particles of dirt by treating the equipment carefully, one is generally completely powerless against dust. Dust on objectives and filters, inside cameras and laboratory equipment, as well as on films and camera chips, can have a considerably negative impact on the photos that are produced. Simple attempts to clean equipment are additionally complicated by static charges.

In laboratories, too, during media production, during projection, in the graphics industry, while framing pictures and in many industrial applications dust and static charges are unavoidable phenomena that accompany such processes, and consequently they have to be effectively combated.

Efficient antistatic equipment is standard on virtually all Kinetronics products. Brushes, cloths and gloves also have conductive textile and material components. The „SpeckGRABBER“ functions according to a completely different principle for  removing dust and  dirt  particles from highly-sensitive surfaces, such as CCD/CMOS receivers and their covers in digital cameras.
