The use of polarizing filters contributes to a significant improvement in the colour rendering of the image. Colours are brighter, richer, cleaner, without blue veils, and reflections and glare are reduced by filtering out light that has become polarised due to reflections from shiny non-metallic surfaces,

Polarizing filters are the most important filters for improving color rendition. They are color neutral and are suitable for both analog and digital photography. The polarizing filter effect is NOT achievable by any additional software modification! They have a rotatable mounting, by rotating they can be influenced in their effect.

- they enhance the rendering of clouds, the sky blue is richer, the colors are cleaner and brighter

- reduce haze for long distance shots

- remove glare e.g. on glass (not on metal), water surface becomes clearer.
