MOERSCH Easy Lith 500 paper developer (2 x 250 ml)

Moersch Easy Lith is a special positive developer for lith printing. It is an affordable alternative to get acquainted with this technique. There are two concentrates - solutions that are ready/prepared to dilute working solutions, additives are not used in this developer.

Lith A = 250ml, Lith B = 250ml

The developer is diluted in a ratio of 1 + 15 to 1 + 30 = approx. 8 - 15.5 litres of working solution.

In the positive lith printing technique, the photographic paper (which is lithusable = only some or special) is extremely overexposed and developed in a special lith developer. Unique images are created, with an often unusual, often surreal atmosphere.

The tone of the image is sepia, but also - depending on the chosen paper, developer and its dilution - purple, reddish brown, olive, ochre. A typical lith image shows subtle sepia and fine-grained tones in the middle and light parts, the grain is stronger in the dark parts. The process is controlled by a combination of exposure time, developer dilution, developing time and, of course, the choice of paper and developer.
