DÖRR SL-480 circular LED light

The versatile DÖRR LED Studio Ring Light SL-480 creates a very soft and almost shadow-free illumination of your recordings. The ring light is the ideal lighting for portraits, especially for beauty and glamour shootings, for product photography and for video shoots.

For frontal illumination, you may take photos through the ring light. Due to the large diameter of the round lamp, a natural and circle round reflection is shown in the model's eye. Skin imperfections and wrinkles are reduced. The pleasant and soft light creates beautiful portraits with character. For exciting light effects or expressive shadows, position the ring light next to the model or use the light as an additional fill light from above.

The LED studio light is fitted with a tiltable light stand mount. With the help of this mount, the ring light can simply be placed on any light stand with spigot. Suitable light stands are optionally available in the DÖRR Webshop.

USE ANYWHERE THANKS TO BATTERY MOUNT

Apart from using the LED ring light in the studio, at home or indoors, you may also use the light outside independently of a power supply on the streets, on outdoor locations and in nature. In addition to the supplied power adapter, it is possible to

operate the LED ring light with two optionally available lithium-ion batteries. That’s why you are completely independent of power sockets and annoying cables.

For self-sufficient operation, we recommend two DÖRR batteries of the type NP-F750 or NP-F970.

STRONG PERFORMANCE AND VARIABLE COLOUR TEMPERATURE

Thanks to 480 high-performance LEDs the light output is extremely strong and can be dimmed from full power to zero. This enables you to achieve an optimal balance of foreground and background brightness. In order to adapt the colour temperature to the ambient light, the colour temperature can be regulated from 3,200K to 5,500K. Both the set light output and the colour temperature are clearly legible on the large display on the rear side of the device.

PLEASANT LIGHT WITH A HIGH CRI VALUE

How natural does a light source appear? Does the spectral composition correspond to sunlight? The CRI value (Color Rendering Index) provides information about this. The closer the value comes to the value of the sun (= 100), the more pleasant and natural the light appears. The light of the SL-480 offers a very good value of over 95 Ra.

SELFIES - OPTIMALLY ILLUMINATED

The LED ring light is also perfect for illuminating selfies and beauty vlogs. In order to operate the ring light conveniently from the front, it is equipped with an additional control knob on the front to adjust light output and colour temperature. The supplied mini ball head, a flexible gooseneck and a mirror help to align the smartphone. The smartphone holder is suitable for smartphones with a width of approx. 65 to 97 mm and holds an iPhone 15 Pro Max, for example.

The scope of delivery also includes a practical bag that protects the ring light from dust and dirt.
