This film is based on aerial film from Agfa-Gevaert (Aviphot Pan 200). Superpanchromatic sensitisation. Therefore also infrared photographs are possible. Infrared effect only with filters which block visible light up to 715 nm (like Heliopan RG 715).
General film characteristics of Superpan 200:
- emulsion is coated on a 100µm (0.10 mm) thick PET base
- special coating for improving film advance characteristics in cameras
- usage possible in both daylight and tungsten light.

Exposed at EI 200/24° this film has a very strong S-shaped characteristic curve. This results in a very contrasty look with very low levels of shadow detail and very clearly separated mid-tones. If such contrasty look is not wanted it is recommended to expose with 2 stops more light and adjust development time accordingly (shorter development time).
Photographers who prefer optimal shadow detail, highest light sensitivity and evenly graded grey tones / optimal tonality in their photography will find their optimal film in conventional ISO 400/27° B/W films like Ilford HP5+, Ilford Delta 400, Ilford XP2 Super 400, Kodak T-Max 400, Kodak Tri-X or Kentmere 400.
