This film is based on aerial film technology of Agfa-Gevaert (Agfa Aviphot Pan 80). Superpanchromatic sensitisation. Therefore also infrared photographs are possible. Infrared effect only with filters which block visible light up to 715 nm (likeHeliopan RG 715).

Description

Exposed at EI 80/20° this film has a very strong S-shaped characteristic curve. This results in a very contrasty look with very low levels of shadow detail and very clearly separated mid-tones. If such contrasty look is not wanted it is recommended to expose with 2 stops more light and adjust development time accordingly (shorter development time).

Photographers who prefer optimal shadow detail, highest light sensitivity and evenly graded grey tones in their photography will find their optimal film in conventional ISO 50/18° to ISO 100/21° films with very high resolution like Ilford PanF+, ADOX CHS 100 II, Ilford Delta 100, Kodak T-Max 100, Fujifilm Neopan Acros II.
