Description

High quality UV filter from German brand manufacturer B.I.G. for professional use. Thanks to 14 anti-reflective layers, it reduces light reflections from the glass surface to the maximum.

It is resistant to grease, scratches and dirt.

Thanks to its thin rim (approx. 4.5mm), it is also suitable for wide-angle lenses.

The UV filter is used to filter out the ultraviolet component of the radiation, to which the camera's light metering sensors do not react and this component of the radiation can cause overexposure of the shot. It is essential at sea or in high mountains. It suppresses haze, fog, provides better image clarity and more accurate color balance and better color contrast.

For everyday use, there is no need to take it off, it also serves as a mechanical protection for the lens from scratches, dust, water drops or dew and moisture. It is colour neutral.
