ADOX Colloida P - photographic gelatine, 250 g, emulsion

Adox Colloida P - very pure, chemically inert gelatin suitable for the preparation of light-sensitive photographic emulsion. Unless otherwise specified, it is first swelled in cold water (according to the recommended procedure) and then prepared at a temperature of 40 degrees.

Adox Colloida P Photographic Gelatin is used as a binder for the photographic emulsion and substrate. For optimum results, the substrate must meet the conditions of good photochemical inactivity and good surface absorbency.

To achieve this, a gelatine is applied to such a surface to maintain good cohesion between the emulsion and the substrate.

The most common materials on which emulsion and gelatine are used are wood, textiles, glass, porcelain, metals, stone, concrete, plaster, etc.

Dissolve 40-80 grams of gelatine in a litre of water.
