Description
TETENAL Hardener Liquid 1 l
TETENAL Hardener Liquid is an auxiliary photographic chemical designed for use in fixers and stop baths during black & white film and photographic paper processing in the darkroom.
The hardener strengthens the gelatin emulsion, increasing its mechanical resistance during processing, especially at higher temperatures or when working with softer emulsions. At the same time, it acts as a wash aid, helping to remove residual chemicals more efficiently, shortening washing times and reducing water consumption.
It is particularly suitable for baryta photographic papers, but can also be used with black & white films.
Recommended dilution
- add to fixer or stop bath depending on the required emulsion hardening
- as a wash aid: dilute the concentrate with water at approximately 1 : 19
- after use, continue with standard washing in clean water
