FOMA Fotonal is a concentrated wetting agent designed for the final rinse of black-and-white films and photo papers. It reduces the surface tension of water, allowing it to flow evenly from the film surface without forming droplets, stains, or mineral marks. This improves drying quality and minimizes the risk of damaging the photographic emulsion.
In addition to photographic use, wetting agents are widely applied in various technical and laboratory processes:
Wetting agents such as Fotonal are formulated to be gentle on photographic emulsions and leave no residue after drying. Suitable for both home and professional darkroom processing.
Typical dilution: 1–2 ml of concentrate per 1 litre of water (depending on water hardness). Immerse the film for around 30 seconds after washing and let it dry without wiping.
