ILFORD Ilfotol is a professional non-ionic wetting agent designed for the final rinse of black-and-white films and photo papers. It reduces water surface tension, preventing droplets, streaks, and mineral marks during drying. Its high efficiency in minimal dilution makes it a standard in professional darkrooms.

Extended applications of wetting agents

Ilfotol is extremely gentle on photographic emulsions and leaves no residue after drying. Suitable for all B&W film and paper types.

Dilution

Typical dilution: 1:200–1:400 (2.5–5 ml per litre). Immerse for 30 seconds and let dry without wiping.
