Description

It clamps onto the lens with a "Snap" mechanism that snaps into the filter thread of the lens. You can keep the cap on even if you have the lens hood on at the same time.

Instructions for manual white balance:

1. Put the Vivicap on your lens, set the focus to manual and defocus (= don't focus = work with the out of focus setting).

2. Set manual white balance on the camera.

3. Aim the lens at the main light source and save the readings/make a reference shot.

4. Adjust the white balance to the value of the reference shot.

The detailed procedure may be different for each camera model. Your camera's manual describes the detailed procedure.
