Description

It is used to test the sharpness of lenses. It is a 19 × 19 cm chart on deep matte paper, with a special starfish test pattern of 18 cm diameter (48 pairs of segments).

You take a picture of the starfish with the tested instrument/lens and you can determine the resolving power of your lens by the result. Instructions for use and evaluation are included in the package.

The quality of sharpness and focusing is tested in the described way also in specialized laboratories.
